CONTEST RULES: Season 10 of Karaoke Idol

Audition infront of the judges on try-out nights. If you get a pass, you go to the next round.
You must get 2 "Yes" votes to continue
If you don't get a pass, you may try again on another audition try-out night, but you had better do something that the judges will like!

Only 10 singers will be allowed to continue to the eliminations
A date will be set to narrow it down to only 10 singers. You must attend to continue in the contest.

One person will be eliminated each week. If you do not attend, you will be eliminated.

The roll of the judges shifts to giving advice during the eliminations round. Listen to them as they are there to help you.

During the eliminations, theme weeks (such as a Canadian theme) will be announced. Contest singers must stick to the theme or be eliminated.

On the 3rd last contest night, the 3 judges will each pick a song for 1 of the contestants. This song is to be performed on the (2nd last) Semi-Finals night. This song will be chosen just for you, to help you WIN this contest. On the FINALE night, the last 2 contestants sing 2 songs each; any songs they want. The audience will pick a winner and the winner will receive their prize(s).

Any contestant displaying "Unsportsman-like behavour" could be eliminated immediately from the contest. Complaints from a judge, contestant, or audience member are taken seriously, but there must be some sort of proof (Hearsay is not allowed as evidence).
